This long quilted parka presents a particularly interesting experimental construction with a true "archive fashion" spirit: a minimalist light gray side and a more technical quilted marine side, allowing two completely different readings of the room.
The most intriguing detail lies in the mixing of brand elements: Embossed zipper Iceberg and marked buttons Block60. This assembly suggests a workshop development piece, Sample Showroom or presentation prototype carried out in a production environment working for several Italian labels.
The design clearly shows a desire for double-sided / reversible, while maintaining some typical peculiarities of development clothing:
This is precisely this unfinished and experimental character that gives this piece all its interest today. We are far from a series coat: it is a garment with a strong visual identity, probably produced in very small amount or even only one exemplary.
The oversized silhouette, the diamond quilting and the technical aesthetics recall some emblematic Italian creations of the time, between utility mode, Fashion archive and conceptual clothing.
Ideal room for:
Vintage state / workshop consistent with the nature of the room.
Sold as a prototype / atypical collection of collection.
The voluntarily ample and technical cut recalls the Italian archive silhouettes of the early 2000s. With 57 cm shoulders and 64 cm under armpits, the room corresponds to an oversize / XXL XL according to the desired effect.
