Rare objects in composite and singular materials

Here are grouped collectible objects made in less conventional materials, but bearing in mind the often unknown know-how :

• Painted or gilded plaster, used in religious or decorative statuary

• Cut or carved stone, for symbolic or ritual objects

• Molded or blown glass, sometimes ornamental, sometimes utility

• Old resin, particularly in the productions of the 1960s and 1990s

• Natural materials (shells, bones, textiles, fibres)

Each piece was selected for its own singularity, its ethnographic or historical valueor its aesthetic presence. Some come from private collections or specialized sales catalogues, and deserve special attention for their rarity or bill.
