Probably from a Showroom room, workshop or sample of collection. Italian manufacture of very good quality by G.F.M. Industria S.p.A., made in 100% virgin wool with an elegant curly texture and an iconic minimalist cup of Italian design of this period.
The silhouette is structured while remaining fluid, with a slightly trapeze line, a sober and graphic collar, large tone-tone buttons and an integrated back belt that discreetly highlights the size. The extremely bright coral / vermilion red color brings a strong and very editorial presence, typical of Italian mode parts between the 90s and early Y2K.
This jacket presents several details that suggests a workshop or prototype room:
Partially sewn inner label, internal handwritten references and lack of classical commercial labeling. This type of garment was usually for showrooms, buyers presentations or collection tests before marketing.
Remarkable condition: The room seems to have never been worn. The wool retains a very beautiful outfit and finishes are particularly neat.
A rare jacket for Fashion Amateur Archive, Italian Minimalism, a Discreet Y2K aesthetic or vintage high-end collection. Easy to wear today with a crude denim, a large tailor pants or a more contemporary monochrome silhouette.
