Rare ax skirt by Manuela Arcari, a real piece of Italian avant-garde aesthetics in the spirit of the minimalist archives and deconstructed of the late 90s / beginning 2000.
This atypical creation perfectly illustrates the experimental work of the Hache house: a fluid and architectural silhouette where the skirt appears to be constructed from a transformed or deconstructed jacket. The lateral sides mentioning falling sleeves create a very strong sculptural movement while maintaining a minimalist and portable elegance.
The asymmetrical midi cup is sublimated by subtle double white contrasting at the bottom of the room, discreet detail but extremely characteristic of the Italian conceptual tailoring of this period. The set has an intellectual and contemporary look reminiscent of some research in Japanese fashion and the avant-garde archives of the 90s.
Technical and qualitative composition:
63% viscose, 35% polyamide, 2% gum.
The slight gum intake gives the fabric a particular outfit and a very interesting structured fell, typical of experimental textile research of the time.
Made in Italy.
Size M. (Width Level Belt 40 cm)
The presence of a handwritten internal label with reference "4500 57" suggests a possible piece showroom, sample or prototype workshop, which further reinforces its interest in collectors and fashion archive lovers.
Rare room and hard to find today, ideal for a cloakroom:
To wear with boots, oversize blazer, black mesh or structured white shirt for a very editorial silhouette.
Very nice vintage never worn.
