bringing together two major works of the Russian repertoire under the legendary direction of Leopold Stokowski, a visionary leader recognized for the orchestral richness and expressive depth of his interpretations.

Published by the label Concert Hall in its series Synchro Stereo, this disc proposes on the one hand the symphonic suite of Cinderella of Sergei Prokofiev, brilliant, narrative and colorful score, and on the other hand the Extase Poem of Alexander Scriabine, mystical and flamboyant work, emblematic of post-Romantism ending. Two contrasting universes, magnified by a broad, sensual and architectural direction, the absolute signature of Stokowski.

This pressing European origin (early 1960s) is distinguished by its Red label Concert Hall, its characteristic typography and natural stereo restitution, highly appreciated by fans of great orchestral formations.
The vinyl is in excellent reading state, offering a smooth, silent and fully satisfying listening, ideal for a demanding collection or for vintage audiophile listening.
The original pouch, well preserved, has only one slight weakness of the varnish in the centre, minor aesthetic defect without impact on the solidity or overall attractiveness of the object.
