I propose you this unique sculpture representing a water carrier, realized in terracotta/ceramic and signed at the base by the initials "RC. "
A format of about 32 x 135 cm for a weight of 1,255 kg without buckets, it rests on a stable and hollow base, characteristic of the pieces shaped by hand or in small print.
The work, crafted, has a beautiful patina and finely shaped details: traditional clothes, buckets hanging from a plague, face shaded by a hat. It evokes popular or decorative art of the twentieth century, with a naive but expressive style.
