Coming from a true Sample showroom identified by the mention "Sample Made Inside Out". This sleeveless tankman perfectly illustrates the experimental and avant-garde period of the Belgian designer with the transition between technical tailoring, deconstruction textile and aesthetic sport sewing become emblematic of the house.
Realized in a textured material stretch composed of viscose and polyamide (80% vi / 20% pa), the fabric has a superb pattern tone-on-your embossed baroque inspiration, typical of textile research conducted by Bikkembergs around the 2000-2001 collections. The minimalist construction associated with voluntarily gross finishes and the "Inside Out" approach recalls the influence of Belgian design of that time, between experimentation, technical sensuality and second skin silhouettes.
The adjusted cut and fallen fluid give the room a very current aesthetic despite its age, perfectly in the Y2k archive spirit today. The Nude Rosé / Bronze Beige Color brings a sophisticated and futuristic dimension according to the light. The presence of the original hangtang as well as Sample Tag strongly strengthens the interest collector of this room.
This archive corresponds to an important period in the history of Dirk BikkembergsAt the moment the creator develops his hybrid universe combining fashion, performance and sports culture, just before the iconic football years that will make his international fame.
Rare room, hard to find today in this state, ideal for archive collector, Belgian fashion amateur, stylist, designer costume or enthusiast of authentic Y2K parts.
